April Favourites!

Image
Hey everyone, This month there has been quite a few things that I've been loving.  My March Favourites was quite short as I'd bought some things but hadn't formed an opinion on them so I knew that meant my April Favourites could be a little bit longer.  I will link my March Favourites here if you'd like to have a read but below are all the things I have loved using this month. The first two things I've loved were received in the April My Little Box (I will put the link to my review on this here ) and these are a Vitamin Boost Face Scrub and the Mixa Restoring Body Lotion.  I've really enjoyed the face scrub.  It's for use 1-2 times a week and foams up when in contact with water.  The particles feel gentle on my skin and not scratchy or harsh like some face scrubs can be. The Mixa Restoring Body Lotion has been an absolute game-changer for me.  I suffer terribly with dry skin on my legs and they get so irritated when I shave so I was so excited to tr

Review: My Little Box - April 2017

Hey everyone, Apologies for the lateness in my review of the April My Little Box - my delivery was really late this month and I only received it a few days ago.  The name of the box this month is "Garden" and fits in perfectly with the time of year.  I love the artwork on the outside.  As My Little Box have changed things up a little this year, this is only the second box out of four and as much as I love the bags and variety of containers, I do also love the artwork that comes with having an original "box". This month it seems jam-packed and was literally bursting at the seams when I opened it up. As I've said before, I love how everything is always so nicely presented and tied up using the My Little Box ribbon. The first thing I spotted was a "Garden To Table" planting guide.  It's a fold-out piece of paper listing each month and what fruit and vegetable you can expect to be harvesting at that time.  I'm not a gardener (althoug

Review: L'Oreal Fine Flowers Skincare

Image
Hey everyone, I recently found myself in the skincare aisle at Boots and my attention was grabbed by this very pretty new skincare range from L'Oréal.  I'm not usually a "girly" girl but I was really attracted by the pastel pink and white packaging and the scent of Rose and Jasmine is subtle, yet beautiful.  It's aimed at dry and sensitive skin types but even though I have normal to combination skin, I thought they looked too good to miss trying.  There are four products in the range - Cleansing Milk, Gel-Cream Wash, Toner and Cleansing Wipes.  They were all on offer so I picked up all but the wipes.  Below are my thoughts on the three products I chose:- Gel-Cream Wash This is a rich cream/gel facial wash that can be used both in the mornings and evenings.  It has a thick texture that, mixed with water, creates a soft foamy wash.  The scent is lovely and it leaves my skin feeling so clean but not dry or uncomfortable. Cleansing Milk This bottle is huge

The Blue Sky Tag - 11 Questions Challenge

Hey everyone, I was so surprised and honoured to be tagged into the above challenge by the amazing highstreet_beauty.  Not only because I absolutely adore everything about her blogs and Instagram feed but also because it's the first time I've ever been tagged in a "blogger tag" before.  So the challenge is to answer the 11 questions that she asked, I then tag 11 bloggers and set 11 new questions for them to answer.  I will pop a link here if you would like to take a look at her answers and below you'll find my answers: Q. Why did you start writing a blog? A. I wanted to do something that would make my little boys proud of me.  I've always tried to teach them that you can do anything you want to and never be afraid to just give something a go.  If it doesn't work out then at least you can say you've tried...if it does work out then that's just fantastic. My inspiration for everything I do   Q. Which is your favourite season? A. I lo
